Transport Dynamics has provided traffic and transport advice to support proposals at the King George Hall and Playfield Fields (Surrey) by the Effingham Village Trust (a charitable organisation) to improve existing facilities, upgrade community park assets and allow the introduction of a MUGA.
In the beginning our work was on a pro bono basis because the requirements of the County Highway Authority were extreme and out of kilter with the actual proposals being around the upgrade of existing facilities. Local authorities should support proposals by default, not apply the bureaucratic ink and pen and a “Computer Says No” approach.
Our work and approach resulted in the application of common sense, with planning consent being granted in November 2025.
