Transport Dynamics has been commissioned by London Road Bar and Grill in East Grinstead to provide traffic and transport support to a planning application (DM/21/0651) which sought permanent use of an existing on-street pavement embedded loading bay for external seating.
Transport Dynamics Managing Director Tom Swift explains: “Under the Temporary Pavement Licence Legislation which came into effect on 20th July 2020, London Road Bar and Grill made use of the proposed area temporarily.” “Due to the instant success it was then proposed to retain the area for permanent use.”
“West Sussex Highway Authority had originally objected to the proposal, however through detailed assessment work Transport Dynamics provided evidence to support the proposal and that no impact to on-street delivery space would occur.”
