Transport Dynamics have recently provided traffic and transport advice to support a proposed residential development at Chelwood Gate, East Sussex.
The site falls in the Wealden District Council jurisdiction and therefore was prone to WDC’s obtuse stance against any form of development which may create additional nitrogen dioxide which could impact the Ashdown Forest Special Area of conservation, that is despite this being consistently overflown by all air traffic in the South East and prone to European air pollution spread.
For this site we provided advice in relation to access, visibility splays, highway safety and also undertook a speed survey to support the application.
