Transport Dynamics has recently provided access advice helping obtain planning consent for a new access at Old Surrenden Manor Road, Bethersden in Kent.
An old access with sub-standard visibility was proposed to be closed up and a new access with improved visibility but slightly below requirements was put forward.
Despite the proposed overall improvement Kent County Council Highways still refused the proposal without taking into account common sense. Our team’s methodical approach, ATC speed survey and technical drawings overturned the objection resulting in the grant of consent.
