Transport Dynamics has recently been instrumental in an appeal which successfully allowed a large scale hotel redevelopment in Southgate, London.
The appeal was allowed for change of use of the existing building and part 3rd floor extension, fourth floor roof extension to provide an additional floor and rear four storey extension, enclosure of existing external staircase, to provide a 107 bed hotel with associated external alterations, landscaping and car parking at 93 Burleigh Gardens, LONDON, N14 5AJ.
Planning permission existed for a change of use and extension of the former building on the appeal site to a 66-bed hotel, reusing the footprint, floor space and height of the former office building. The proposal would increase the number of beds to 107, facilitated through both vertical and rearward extensions.
Crucially our worked allow the retention of 24 vehicle parking spaces from the previous 66-bed consent.
